I have worked in the food and beverage industry for over 30+ years, including 20+ years at The Phoenician Resort, where I met my husband Tim and many lifelong friends. I took on many roles at The Phoenician, from driving the golf course beverage cart, to serving, bartending, and their management training program. When my husband and I started our family, I needed to discover a new path.

My journey led me to become a high school Culinary Arts Instructor. I impact the lives of my students on a daily basis and help them define and accomplish their long term goals. For over 12 years, I have been fortunate to participate in C-CAP and see my students benefit from scholarships, hands-on experience and mentorships. Teaching is truly a passion of mine; I see the impact it has on my students lives by changing their future paths. Education and opportunities are endless if we help guide young students to the right open doors.

In 2022, Tim and I, along with another couple, started The Pizza Butcher, a gourmet pizza and cheesesteak food trailer. When I am not at school, you can find me working on the truck at private events, local wine bars or businesses. Tim is a long time valley chef, and has artfully crafted The Pizza Butcher experience by sourcing local ingredients, customizing recipes, and developing unique flavor profiles.

I am the proud mom of three beautiful daughters, all of whom are successful in their own adventures as a nurse, a pre-med college student, and a golfer attending college. I also enjoy traveling, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
