Cheri Romanoski

Cheri started her impressive certified organic prickly pear processing business, Cheri’s Desert Harvest in 1985. The fruits are mainly harvested from her two prickly pear farms and turned into syrup, jelly and candy. The oil from the seeds is harvested for cosmetics, the juice used to dye apparel and waste processed into a biscuit for zoo animals - the profits from which helps develop programs for children. The products from her Tucson company are sold internationally.

She is a member of “1% For the Planet”, NAWBO, and a board member of Tucson City of Gastronomy.
