Jenelle Bonifield

I‌ ‌am‌ ‌a‌ ‌professional‌ ‌photographer‌ ‌specializing‌ ‌in‌ ‌Arizona’s‌ ‌food‌ ‌and‌ ‌beverage‌ ‌industry,‌ ‌currently‌ ‌documenting‌ ‌Arizona‌ ‌wine.‌ ‌Last‌ ‌year‌ ‌I‌ ‌published‌ ‌the‌ ‌coffee-table‌ ‌book‌ ‌“AZ‌ ‌Uncorked:‌ ‌The‌ ‌Arizona‌ ‌Wine‌ ‌Guide,”‌ ‌with‌ ‌over‌ ‌500‌ ‌images‌ ‌personally‌ ‌photographed.‌ ‌Over‌ ‌a‌ ‌period‌ ‌of‌ ‌three‌ ‌years,‌ ‌I‌ ‌visited‌ ‌each‌ ‌location‌ ‌and‌ ‌gathered‌ ‌insight‌ ‌into‌ ‌the‌ ‌unique‌ ‌characteristics‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌vineyards,‌ ‌wineries,‌ ‌tasting‌ ‌rooms,‌ ‌and‌ ‌the‌ ‌people‌ ‌behind‌ ‌the‌ ‌wine‌ ‌in‌ ‌Arizona.‌ ‌ ‌

Currently,‌ ‌I‌ ‌am‌ ‌collaborating‌ ‌with‌ ‌the‌ ‌Arizona‌ ‌Office‌ ‌of‌ ‌Tourism‌ ‌in‌ ‌a‌ ‌series‌ ‌of‌ ‌stories‌ ‌to‌ ‌highlight‌ ‌Arizona‌ ‌women‌ ‌in‌ ‌wine‌ ‌and‌ ‌emerging‌ ‌wineries,‌ ‌which‌ ‌happens‌ ‌to‌ ‌coincide‌ ‌with‌ ‌my‌ ‌participation‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌Vin‌ ‌de‌ ‌Filles‌ ‌(“Girls’‌ ‌Wine”)‌ ‌project‌ ‌at‌ ‌Page‌ ‌Springs‌ ‌Cellars‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌Verde‌ ‌Valley.‌ ‌The‌ ‌project‌ ‌is‌ ‌a‌ ‌wine‌ ‌completely‌ ‌produced‌ ‌by‌ ‌women‌ ‌to‌ ‌highlight‌ ‌the‌ ‌vitality‌ ‌and‌ ‌feminine‌ ‌strength‌ ‌within‌ ‌the‌ ‌world‌ ‌of‌ ‌wine.‌ ‌Through‌ ‌my‌ ‌lens,‌ ‌I‌ ‌have‌ ‌been‌ ‌documenting‌ ‌the‌ ‌project‌ ‌from‌ ‌start‌ ‌to‌ ‌finish.‌ ‌The‌ ‌wine‌ ‌will‌ ‌be‌ ‌bottled‌ ‌around‌ ‌June‌ ‌and‌ ‌released‌ ‌in‌ ‌October,‌ ‌with‌ ‌all‌ ‌proceeds‌ ‌going‌ ‌to‌ ‌the‌ ‌nonprofit‌ ‌organization‌ ‌Verde‌ ‌Valley‌ ‌Sanctuary.‌ ‌The‌ ‌Sanctuary,‌ ‌located‌ ‌in‌ ‌Cottonwood,‌ ‌offers‌ ‌a‌ ‌safe‌ ‌haven‌ ‌for‌ ‌victims‌ ‌of‌ ‌family‌ ‌violence‌ ‌and‌ ‌sexual‌ ‌assault,‌ ‌providing‌ ‌shelter,‌ ‌community‌ ‌outreach,‌ ‌legal‌ ‌advocacy,‌ ‌and‌ ‌education/prevention.‌ ‌ ‌

Arizona‌ ‌wineries‌ ‌and‌ ‌food‌ ‌feature prominently on‌ ‌my‌ ‌social‌ ‌media‌ ‌channels.‌
