My Downtown Chandler eatery Mingle + Graze is the culmination of my 20 years experience in the food & beverage industry. I am a daughter of Iranian immigrants who was born in Tucson, AZ, grew up in Arkansas, and now back here in AZ.

The foundation of my love for food and culture stems from my Persian background. I also grew up in a multicultural neighborhood in Tucson where I was surrounded by people from all over the world. Neighborhood potlucks with foods from Malaysia, Brazil, Ghana, Iraq, Iran, and Indonesia opened up my curiosity for food at a young age.

It is no wonder that when I was in college that I made the decision of switching career goals from plans to go to Pharmacy School to Culinary School. Not the career choice my immigrant parents wanted of me, but I see now how proud they are of me for pursuing my passion and goals.
